Both running 14929, both have DDNS configured for Namecheap and using the following settings: DDNS Service: Custom DYNDNS Server: dynamicdns.User Name: &host= Additional DDNS Options: Blank Do not use external ip check: Router #1: YES; Router #2: NO They are basically set up to update two different subdomains on my account (one for each location).

They have the exact same DDNS settings, except for the Host Name field and External IP Check.

Hi, I've searched these forums and Google up and down and can't find an issue to my problem, so here goes...

I have two Buffalo WHR-G125 routers at two different locations.

Sep 5 INADYN[2527]: W: DYNDNS: Error ' RC_IP_CONNECT_FAILED' (0x13) when talking to IP server Sep 5 INADYN[2527]: W:' RC_IP_CONNECT_FAILED' (0x13) updating the IPs.

Router #1 is set up as Gateway and has a WAN ip and "Do not use external ip check" is set to YES, Router #2 is configured as an AP and has WAN disabled (per and has "Do not use external ip check" set to NO, since it doesn't have a WAN address.Router #1's DDNS works perfectly, however Router #2 constantly receives these errors: Tue Sep 17 2013: W: DYNDNS: Error 'RC_IP_CONNECT_FAILED' (0x13) when talking to IP server Tue Sep 17 2013: W:'RC_IP_CONNECT_FAILED' (0x13) updating the IPs.
