"Soon the room will be all trolls and pedos." Welcome to the chat room, it's always been like this. How about fixing it with something besides lip service? If they wanted to seriously cut down on predator traffic, they would: 1) Require registration of a name, with a valid email. Cross reference registrations by IP address, check that frequently, and firewall abuse. But there is a solution for somebody who wanted to do it.2) Guest accounts can visit the room but can't send (text), show cam, or view cams. 4) Perm-ban overage or abusers by name, and firewall the IP/host-range at the site level. Yes I know that the owners aren't going to do that.
Handwriting spammers and line spammers who leave and join to dodge being blocked. They put their sick sexual fantasies right in their names. If that doesn't work he plays leave-join on guest names so they can't block him whispering. "And there's the messed up dude who stalks girls to show on cam and threatens to hack their computer if they don't." Only a complete idiot would fall for the "I'm going to hack you computer if you don't do what I say" threat.
And there's the messed up dude who stalks girls to show on cam and threatens to hack their computer if they don't. "All of this goes on because there's nobody to get rid of them" There are mods, most are usually inactive (they need to get new ones that will actually be in the chat) and the others that still login tend to just ignore their mod job.
