The problem I am having is that Windows Media Center will not update the Program guide listings.I have removed and restored Windows Media Center, ran a scan and fix and have looked all over the internet for help on this.
I have an analog setup through my cable company and everything ran fine until recently although I havent used this feature in a few months. P.s.: If there is already a post regarding this my apologies. It seems that this is a wide reachig problem and that no one seems to have an answer on how to fix it, including Microsoft.I noticed that a couple times when I tried to update that in the background it was saying that the ESP failed and also that Zip2it might also be the problem. It’s now being reported by Ed Bott of ZDNet, and we can confirm, that Windows Media Center will not be available in Windows 10.
Turns out I also was unable to d/l microsoft updates to my computer.
After much searching around and with the help of my son, I discovered that my BITS was no where to be found.
